Hashatil / West Village

Approx. 250 residential units and 16 semi-detached homes.
Hashatil/West Village is located on the former grounds of the historic Hashatil nursery in western Ramat Hasharon, Village West transforms a landscape of cultivation into a contemporary residential neighborhood rooted in the identity of the site. The landscape concept reinterprets the nursery’s agricultural grid, planting patterns and irrigation systems as an organizing framework for a network of gardens, plazas, paths and communal spaces. Existing mature trees are integrated with new planting, preserving the site’s memory while establishing a new ecological landscape. A continuous system of pedestrian and soft-mobility routes connects the residential buildings, community facilities and surrounding green spaces, deliberately blurring the boundaries between private and public realms. The result combines urban living, nature and community within a connected and landscape-driven environment.
